The following currently is restricted to RAASPI site only.

Items mainly of types digital (SI-DG) are suitable for monthly or yearly subscription plan.

Subscription item will not show add to cart button, instead will show start free trial.

Actual payment is done using the monthly or yearly subscription button shown inside the client's site status dashboard.

When a site is created the subscription item id is saved  in client record as serial number. Example  Business5SI7.122-388027075. 

Each site also holds the product function code like ee or oa 

If subscription renewal button is pressed then this Item id is matched against subscription plans in the rate table and passed

to Payment gateway.

Following steps need to be followed:

Item update:

1. Login for backoffice function
2. Browse shopping cart items and used edit button
3. update misccode1 field value with trial1 or trial2 etc. This will show the Free Trial button instead of add to cart.
4. trial1 is foe business, trial2 is for organization, trial3 for Agency/service and trial4 for Manufacturing
5. Default trial period is 14 days. To override use trial121 for 3 weeks
6. If addon product then use trial1a, trial2a etc
7. trial1a is for 
8. Next step is to click on variants to show more fields and enter the monthly subscription plan id in Subcodesn field.
9. An example will be P-1SD224157A3739842L4ZVTCA
10. use Subcodesn2 field to hold yearly plan id

Rate table entries:

1. Create a new entry with useType PC  and stepName with itemcode example Business5SI7.122-388027075 
2. Incentive field with site product function code example ee for business or oa for alumni/association
